Basketball Recap: Holy Trinity Classical Christian Comes Up Short

Holy Trinity Classical Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 32nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Thomas Heyward Academy Rebels and fell 61-34. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mighty Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-15 back in January.

Holy Trinity Classical Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Thomas Heyward Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Holy Trinity Classical Christian will take on Andrew Jackson Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thomas Heyward Academy has already played their next contest (against Cross), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
