Basketball Recap: Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau Comes Up Short

Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 60-44 bruising from the Lewiston-Altura Cardinals.

Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Lewiston-Altura, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau and Pine Island will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lewiston-Altura, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lewiston-Altura Cardinals duke it out with the Lake City Tigers at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday. Lewiston-Altura will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
