Volleyball Recap: Golden Valley Takes a Loss

Golden Valley was the 3-0 winner over Buhach Colony when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars fell just short of the Thunder by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Golden Valley took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 22-25, 19-25, 25-20, 15-9.

Chai Her paced Golden Valley's offense, picking up 19 kills. Her got some help from Teng Her and his 17 assists.

Golden Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 22-15. As for Buhach Colony, their win bumped their record up to 8-11.

Golden Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against El Capitan on the 17th. Buhach Colony has also already played their next game (against Atwater), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
