Basketball Recap: Bristow Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Bristow won the last time they faced Cushing and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bristow Pirates walked away with a 39-31 win over the Cushing Tigers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Bristow found their leader in freshman Josie Morgan, who posted ten points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Melanie Kent, who put up five points and five rebounds.

Bristow's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-4. As for Cushing, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Bristow will be playing at home against Sperry at 6:00 p.m. on January 14th. As for Cushing, they will venture away from home to face off against Kingfisher at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
