Volleyball Recap: LaMoille Comes Up Short

LaMoille was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 27th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Galva Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While LaMoille ultimately came up short, they really made Galva work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-14.

LaMoille's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Galva, the victory snapped their losing streak at nine matches and leaves them with a 6-13 record.

LaMoille didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Lowpoint-Washburn on the 3rd. As for Galva, they will face off against Princeville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
