Pusch Ridge Christian Academy was led to victory by Sedona Dietrich and Nicole NJoroge. Dietrich dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, while NJoroge scored 19 points along with eight steals. NJoroge continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Sara NJoroge was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Buena, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Sunrise Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sunrise Mountain will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Buena will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sunnyside at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024. Sunnyside will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
