Volleyball Recap: Park Vista Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Park Vista won the last time they faced Olympic Heights and things went their way on Monday too. The Cobras came out on top against the Lions by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cobras.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23, 23-25, 25-16.

Joseph Monaco paced Park Vista's offense, picking up 12 kills. Monaco were helped by Tyler Gally and Aiden Roney, who contributed two assists each. Roney was also solid from the service line: he led the team with six aces.

Park Vista's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-12. As for Olympic Heights, they moved to 9-7 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Park Vista didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Dr. Joaquin Garcia on the 22nd. After both having extra time off, Olympic Heights and Stoneman Douglas will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
