Basketball Recap: Crane Comes Up Short

Crane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-55 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rankin Red Devils. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Cranes have suffered against the Red Devils since February 8, 2021.

Crane's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Rankin, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Crane won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Pathway Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rankin, they will face off against Balmorhea at 6:15 p.m. on December 2.
