Volleyball Recap: Francis W. Parker Comes Up Short

The Francis W. Parker Colonels came up short against the Amundsen Vikings on Friday and fell 2-0.

Francis W. Parker was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 20 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20.

Billie Wilson paced Francis W. Parker's offense, picking up three kills. Wilson got some help from Lilah Weed and her nine assists. Beatrix 'B' Hirsch controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Francis W. Parker's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Amundsen, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Francis W. Parker will venture away from home to square off against Niles North at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Amundsen, they will host Chicago Washington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
