Basketball Game Preview: Antonian Prep Apaches vs. St. Michael's Warriors

Antonian Prep's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Edison Onwe, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds. The match was Onwe's fourth in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amare Guerra, who posted 19 points and three steals.

Meanwhile, St. Michael's entered their tilt with TMI-Episcopal on Saturday with ten consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with 11. They blew past the Panthers 59-33. With the Warriors ahead 31-9 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

St. Michael's pushed their record up to 30-4 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.7 points over those games. As for Antonian Prep, their win bumped their record up to 34-6.

Antonian Prep suffered a grim 92-71 defeat to St. Michael's in their previous meeting back in January. Can Antonian Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
