Softball Recap: Valley Takes a Loss

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They came up short against The Meadows School Mustangs, falling 20-2. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Vikings couldn't push the score so high this time.

Jennifer Reyes made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in both of her plate appearances.

Valley's record now sits at 0-15. As for The Meadows School, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley will take on Canyon Springs at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pioneers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.38 runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for The Meadows School, they will welcome Pahrump Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least ten runs in their last 12 matches.
