Baseball Game Preview: St. Dominic Bayhawks vs. Holy Trinity Titans

For the second straight game, St. Dominic will face off against Holy Trinity. The Bayhawks will square off against the Titans at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Dominic is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, St. Dominic needed a bit of extra time to put away Holy Trinity. They won by a run and slipped past the Titans 2-1.

St. Dominic got a great performance from Luke Lang as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over 6.2 innings pitched. Lang has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, St. Dominic saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Weinstein, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Holy Trinity's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3. As for St. Dominic, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.
