Softball Recap: Meadow Heights Comes Up Short

Meadow Heights scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against the East Prairie Eagles, falling 20-6. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Meadow Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for East Prairie, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Meadow Heights will venture away from home to challenge Advance at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for East Prairie, they will take on Scott City at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. East Prairie is facing Scott City at the right time seeing as Scott City is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
