Softball Recap: Chester Takes a Loss

If Chester was riding high fresh off their 11-0 takedown of Eau Claire last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cyclones took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-3 back in March.

Chester now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Legion Collegiate Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.

Looking ahead, Chester will host Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cyclones are facing the Capitals at the right time seeing as the Capitals are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Legion Collegiate Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Mountain View Prep at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th.
