Hickory won the last time they faced Oscar Smith and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hawks walked away with a 3-1 win over the Tigers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 17-25, 25-17.

Hailey Caddy paced Hickory's offense, picking up ten kills. Caddy got some help from Kyla Goode and her 21 assists. Goode was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Hickory's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Oscar Smith, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Hickory will square off against rival Western Branch at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Oscar Smith is set to face off against their familiar foe Grassfield at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
