Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Lions vs. South Gibson Hornets
The Trinity Christian Academy Lions had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.5 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 69-34 victory over South Gibson at home. The result was nothing new for Trinity Christian Academy, who have now won five contests by 24 points or more so far this season.
Trinity Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Drake Craddock, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Kaleb Williams, who scored 15 points along with five assists and three steals.
Trinity Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for South Gibson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian Academy will take on Sacred Heart of Jesus at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Sacred Heart of Jesus has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for South Gibson, they will be playing at home against Bolivar Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bolivar Central is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
