Basketball Recap: Fairfield Central Comes Up Short

Fairfield Central saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Lucy Beckham Bengals by a score of 42-39.

Despite the loss, Fairfield Central still got an impressive performance from Rashawn Brown, who went 6 for 12 on his way to 16 points. Thomas Johnson was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.

Fairfield Central now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Lucy Beckham, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Fairfield Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 45-22 loss against North Charleston on the 30th. As for Lucy Beckham, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-48 victory against Burke on the 30th.
