Boiling Springs proved they can win big on Monday (they won by seven) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the West Perry Mustangs 2-1. The Bubblers haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Boiling Springs saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chance Flor, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Boiling Springs' win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for West Perry, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

Boiling Springs wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against East Pennsboro on the 26th. As for West Perry, they will face off against Fleetwood at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
