Ramona won the last time they faced Fallbrook and things went their way  on Wednesday too. The Bulldogs narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past the Warriors  9-7. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Bulldogs.
 Taeya Kitchen was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching 6.1 innings while giving up  four earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Evie Brown, who  went 3-for-4 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run. Another player making a difference was  Kayla Gibson, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  double.
Ramona's record is now 9-12-1. As for Fallbrook, their defeat was  their fifth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 7-10-1.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ramona will  take on  rival Westview  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Fallbrook is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Valley Center  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
