Soccer Game Preview: Cy-Fair vs. Memorial

The Cy-Fair Bobcats will challenge the Memorial Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cy-Fair's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Cy-Fair's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jersey Village on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Memorial, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Cypress Ridge 3-2. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Memorial's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Cypress Ridge are ranked 207th).

Cy-Fair's loss dropped their record down to 5-9-2. As for Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 13-1-4.
