Soccer Game Preview: Saint Francis Catholic vs. Eastside

The Saint Francis Catholic Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Eastside Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Eastside will have to contend with a Saint Francis Catholic team hungry for a victory, something the squad hasn't seen since November 5. Saint Francis Catholic fell just short of Duval Charter by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eastside). They never let Palatka onto the board and left with a 3-0 win on Wednesday.

Eastside's victory bumped their record up to 2-10-2. As for Saint Francis Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10-1.

Saint Francis Catholic beat Eastside 3-1 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Saint Francis Catholic since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
