Baseball Recap: Mountain View's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Mountain View's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle by a score of 9-5. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bruins as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Josh Hair, who went 2-for-4 with three runs. He is becoming a predictor of Mountain View's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 5-1 (and 5-14 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Kiesel Wilson, who went 2-for-5 with one double and one RBI.

Mountain View's win bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Juan Diego Catholic, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-12.

As of now, neither Mountain View nor the Soaring Eagle have any future games scheduled.
