Klein Collins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Tomball Memorial Wildcats, falling 18-8. One positive for the Tigers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Delmi Maldonado was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs. Za'Riya Bell-Morris also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Klein Collins' loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Tomball Memorial, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-5-1.

Looking ahead, Klein Collins will venture away from home to face off against Magnolia at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Klein Collins has given up an average of 13.1 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Tomball Memorial, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Tomball Memorial Wildcats take on Tomball Cougars at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (they have won eight straight at home dating back to last season, while Tomball won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
