Softball Recap: George-Little Rock Comes Up Short

George-Little Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 10-6 to the Gehlen Catholic Jays. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 11-2 to the Jays when the teams met back in July of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

George-Little Rock's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Gehlen Catholic, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coincidentally, George-Little Rock and Gehlen Catholic will both be playing Hinton the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will head out to face the Blackhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Jays will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
