Trinity entered their tilt with Male on Monday with 16 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 17. They beat the Bulldogs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-1. Considering the Shamrocks have won 22 matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Trinity pushed their record up to 33-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Male, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-20 record this season.

Trinity will head out to challenge St. Xavier at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Shamrocks 1.4, the Tigers 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Male does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
