Yankton had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They managed a 12-7 win over the Spearfish Spartans on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Bucks/Gazelles, who have now won four games in a row.

Tate Beste threw for 31 yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Jace Sedlacek rushed for 66 yards.

Yankton's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Spearfish, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.
