Recap: Kings Knights vs. Anderson Raptors
The Kings Knights's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They strolled past Anderson with points to spare, taking the game 74-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
When it comes to explaining why Anderson lost, one person who can't be blamed is Caden Piening. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Andrew Patterson, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Kings' win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Anderson, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kings will challenge Winton Woods at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Winton Woods is on a four-game streak of home wins, Kings a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Anderson's road trip will continue as they head out to face West Clermont at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. West Clermont is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 55.4 points per game.
