Baseball Recap: Pima Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Pima's offense. They fell just short of the Snowflake Lobos by a score of 2-0 on Monday.

Preston Russell was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024.

Pima now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Snowflake, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Pima has already played their next match, a 6-5 defeat against North Valley Christian Academy on the 24th. As for Snowflake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-2 win against Alchesay on the 22nd.
