Baseball Game Preview: Enka Jets vs. Draughn Wildcats

For the second straight game, Enka will face off against Draughn. The Jets will take on the Wildcats in a tournament on Friday.

Enka saw some tournament action on Thursday. They came out on top against Draughn by a score of 8-4.

Mason Anderson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Landen Morrow, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

With the defeat, Draughn broke their ten-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-6. As for Enka, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.
