Volleyball Recap: Bountiful RedHawks vs. Viewmont Vikings
While Bountiful's win against Viewmont wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The RedHawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Vikings on Thursday. The RedHawks haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Bountiful took Viewmont into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 21-25, 22-25, 25-22, 15-8.
Connor Burleson paced Bountiful's offense, picking up 25 kills. Burleson got some help from Kainoa Evans and his 48 assists. Jared Calder controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
