Soccer Recap: Grainger Comes Up Short

Grainger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Morristown-Hamblen East Hurricanes, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Grainger can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 285th, while Morristown-Hamblen East are ranked 120th).

Grainger's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Morristown-Hamblen East, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Grainger wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, an 11-5 victory against Claiborne on the 5th. As for Morristown-Hamblen East, they have also already played their next game, a 5-0 loss against Science Hill on the 2nd.
