Evergreen - Clements recap November 5, 2013
New Hampton School's Matthew Dean recorded the longest rushing play in Evergreen - Clements this season in his game against Dexter last week. Dean scampered for 72 yards on the play and finished with 278 on the day as his team topped Dexter.
Proctor Academy and Northfield Mount Hermon played the closest game in the league this week, with Proctor Academy eventually emerging with a 21-20 victory. Sam Barrett threw for 87 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 15 yards during the win.
Dean provided a threat through the air and on the ground as New Hampton School defeated Casey Day's team. Dean's favorite target this week was Carter Dillon, who caught 4 passes for 59 yards.
Dean was a force in the backfield as Ed Kiley's team beat Dexter.
Michael Falzarano made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Huskies bested Dexter. The 5-foot-10 defensive lineman racked up 3 sacks.
Barrett put up the best numbers through the air as the Hornets beat the Hoggers.
New Hampton School's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Huskies feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Adam Enxing has thrown for 775 yards and 8 touchdowns this season, while Elias Camacho has 10 catches for 254 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Tilton School takes on New Hampton School. At the moment, the Rams are in fifth, while the Huskies are in first.
New Hampton School took down Dexter 54-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. Dean ran for 278 yards in the win.
