Baseball Recap: Aliquippa Comes Up Short

Aliquippa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 23-6 to the Shenango Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-0 last Monday.

Aliquippa's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Shenango, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aliquippa will venture away from home to take on Northgate at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Shenango, they will head out to square off against Wilmington at 4:30 p.m. on April 2.
