It was a good run, but Don Lugo unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Chino Cowboys by a score of 4-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cowboys this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-3 back in March.

Jaden Burillo was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Austin Brown, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Don Lugo's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Chino, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2.

While Don Lugo had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
