Baseball Recap: Hatch Valley Takes a Loss

Hatch Valley came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 13-3 to the West Las Vegas Dons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 12-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Hatch Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was RAY RUIZ, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Hatch Valley now has a losing record of 5-6. As for West Las Vegas, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Hatch Valley has already played their next game, a 5-1 defeat against Santa Fe Indian on the 29th. As for West Las Vegas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 14-6 victory against Robertson on the 29th.
