Football Recap: South Umpqua Comes Up Short

South Umpqua lost against Sutherlin back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lancers took a 40-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. Lancers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Bulldogs since Friday.

South Umpqua now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Sutherlin, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

As of now, neither South Umpqua nor Sutherlin have any future games scheduled.
