Soccer Game Preview: West Hills vs. Valhalla

The West Hills Wolf Pack will challenge the Valhalla Norsemen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Valhalla is hoping to do what Ramona couldn't two weeks ago: put an end to West Hills' winning streak, which now stands at three games. West Hills' defense stepped up to hand Ramona a 1-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, Valhalla has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Helix last Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Norsemen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 943rd, while the Highlanders are ranked 79th).

West Hills' win bumped their record up to 3-1-2. As for Valhalla, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8-2.
