Baseball Recap: Perrin-Whitt Comes Up Short

Perrin-Whitt and Gordon squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Perrin-Whitt had to settle for second. They lost 13-2 to the Longhorns. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Longhorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-4 on Saturday.

Perrin-Whitt's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Gordon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

Perrin-Whitt does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gordon, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 8-4 win against the Pirates on the 24th.
