 Washington Township is 4-0 against Culver Academies since April of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Thursday. The Washington Township Senators will be staying on the road  to face off against the Culver Academies Eagles at 6:00  p.m. Both teams come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 On Wednesday, Washington Township had just enough and edged Knox out  8-7.
 The team  relied heavily on  Owen Gilbert, who  scored three  runs and  stole five bases.  Logan Armstrong was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing three bases while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Culver Academies scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Tuesday. They came out on top against South Central by a score of  15-10. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Culver Academies.
  Preston Jessen was a standout: he scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Jack Quigg, who  went 3-for-4 with four  RBI and a  double.
 Washington Township's win bumped their record up to 2-0-1. As for Culver Academies, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with that  victory, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Everything went Washington Township's way against Culver Academies in their previous matchup  back in April of 2021 as Washington Township made off with  a  12-6 win.
