Football Recap: Alice Comes Up Short

Alice managed to slip by Mission Veterans Memorial the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Coyotes had to suffer through a 47-0 loss at the hands of the Patriots. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Coyotes were not able to get on the board.

Roman Reyna produced another solid effort rushing for 107 yards and a pair of TDs on only eight carries, while also throwing for 103 yards and one touchdown for Mission Veterans Memorial.

Alice is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8. As for Mission Veterans Memorial, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Coincidentally, Alice and Mission Veterans Memorial will both be playing Roma the next time they take the field. The Patriots will host the Gladiators at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Coyotes will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on November 7.
