Elgin's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Pflugerville Connally with a sharp 10-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Glenn had just enough and edged out Hays 2-0 on Friday.

Glenn's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Anaya, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. That run marked the first that Anaya scored this season.

Elgin's victory bumped their record up to 11-9-1. As for Glenn, their win bumped their record up to 6-11-3.
