Basketball Recap: Walnut Ridge Comes Up Short

Walnut Ridge lost against Bishop Hartley on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Walnut Ridge Scots fell 65-53 to the Bishop Hartley Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Scots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Hawks are ranked 23rd).

Walnut Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Bishop Hartley, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Bishop Hartley beat Walnut Ridge by a score of 65-53 later that day.
