Basketball Recap: East Henderson Extends Winning Streak to Two

Tuscola came into Friday's match looking for another win against East Henderson, but Kayden Henderson wouldn't allow it. The East Henderson Eagles came out on top against the Tuscola Mountaineers by a score of 47-34 on Friday thanks in part to Henderson, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 18 boards. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in blocks (four).

The win made it two in a row for East Henderson and bumps their season record up to 8-13. As for Tuscola, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Henderson will host North Henderson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Henderson is facing North Henderson at the right time seeing as North Henderson is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Tuscola, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pisgah at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pisgah will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Tuscola surely won't give up without a fight.
