Baseball Game Preview: Northwest Indians vs. Coventry Comets

Northwest is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Coventry an eight-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Saturday. The Northwest Indians will look to defend their home field against the Coventry Comets at 12:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Northwest lost 8-2 to Norwayne on Friday.

Northwest saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Kraft, who went 1-for-3 with two runs. Will Metzger also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Coventry couldn't beat St. Vincent-St. Mary on Friday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Comets came up short against the Fighting Irish, falling 16-5.

Coventry's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Northwest, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.
