Volleyball Recap: Pike Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pike can now relate to. They came up short against the Indianapolis Bishop Chatard Trojans on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Red Devils just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Andrew Moriarty, who had six digs and four aces. Those four aces gave him a new career-high. Davis Bean also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Pike's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Indianapolis Bishop Chatard, their win bumped their record up to 15-10.

Pike does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Indianapolis Bishop Chatard, they will square off against Park Tudor at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
