Recap: Spring Valley Academy vs. Jefferson Township Broncos
Spring Valley Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Jefferson Township 60-43. Spring Valley Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
It was another big night for Camden Montes, who scored 19 points. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for he. Noah Statts was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Spring Valley Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Jefferson Township, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spring Valley Academy will stay at home for another game and welcome DePaul Cristo Rey at 7:00 p.m. on December 14th. DePaul Cristo Rey will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 359th, while Spring Valley Academy is ranked 49th). Jefferson Township will be home for the holidays to greet Horizon Science Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Horizon Science Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Jefferson Township likes a good challenge.
