Baseball Recap: Alamogordo Comes Up Short

Alamogordo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Organ Mountain Knights. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Knights from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Alamogordo saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandon Williams, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that Williams hit this season.

Alamogordo now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Organ Mountain, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4-1 record this season.

While Alamogordo had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
