Greenbrier won the last time they faced Macon County and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bobcats narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Tigers 3-1. That's two games straight that the Bobcats have won by exactly two runs.

Greenbrier has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for Macon County, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenbrier will face off against Liberty Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolves' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Bobcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Macon County, they will challenge Red Boiling Springs at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
