Volleyball Recap: Marion Mustangs vs. Stockbridge        
        
		
             After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Northland Lutheran, Marion was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They walked away with  a   3-1  win over Stockbridge. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Mustangs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Marion was staring down a 1-0 deficit headed into the second set, but they rallied to take the next three for the win. After all that action, the final score was 16-25, 25-11, 25-17,  26-24.
 Among those leading the charge was   Taya Jannusch, who  had 18  digs.
 Marion  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 15  aces. That's the most  aces they've posted since  back in October of 2023.
 Marion's win  ended  a  five-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 2-3. As for Stockbridge,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-5.
 Marion didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  victory vs. White Lake on the 12th. As for Stockbridge, they will get a bit of extra time to process the  defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lena at 6:00  p.m.  on September 26th.
