Soccer Recap: Stoneham Comes Up Short

Stoneham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Lexington Minutemen, falling 4-0. If Stoneham were looking for revenge after losing 6-0 to Lexington when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Stoneham's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10-2. As for Lexington, their win bumped their record up to 10-2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Stoneham is set to square off against their familiar foe Wilmington at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lexington will challenge rival Woburn Memorial at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
